Guwahati : The Mizo Zirlai Pawl alleged that the employment results for Assistant Professor (Methodology of Teaching of Life Science) conducted by Institute of Advanced Study in Education (IASE) was unfair and that it will not accept the said results.
During a meeting held at their headquarters, members deliberated on executing the agenda passed by Federal Council of MZP and principal post in colleges under Mizoram Government.
The meeting highlighted the result of Assistant Professor (Methodology of Teaching of Life Science) post and alleged IASE of not taking the person who scored higher marks while employing candidates with lesser marks.
The meeting also resolved to urged the authority to review the result and make changes in the result.
Meanwhile, the meeting also stated that Mizoram government launch an advertisement for eleven Assistant Professor Post under Institute of Advance Study in Education (IASE) on 6th April 2017 and alleged that there is nepotism in the employment process.
Not only in Methodology of Teaching of Life Science subject but preferential treatment in the process is also shown in other subject. Advertisement for Sociology it clearly stated that M.A (Sociology) with M.Ed. + or M.A (Education) with B.Ed + on which the post is occupied by M.A (History) degree holder with additional M.Ed. and NET degree certificates.
The meeting further alleged IASE of employing person whose degree doesn’t qualify for the job as per the advertisement.
MZP asked the government to dismiss the recruitment process, including Asst. Professor post in methodology of Teaching of Life Science subject before 30th June 2017.
Meanwhile, the meeting also highlighted the demand for permanent College Principals under the Government of Mizoram in different parts of the state and made a public statement that without a proper Principal in the institute, there is a chaos in college administrative.
