Churachandpur, June 16 (NENA): The allegations made by Thadou Students Association (TSA) against the KNO/KNA, widely published in state dailies newspaper on June 14, over abduction and assault of three men in Moreh have been dubbed baseless.
The family members/guardians of Jangkhohao Vaiphei @ Haopu of Jangnou Tupi,Moreh, Tezan Sharma, 20, son of Prakash of Nepali Basti, Moreh, Nazzimuddin @Abu, 30, of Moreh Ward No 6 today clarified to the concerned authorities and general public that the allegations were “baseless.”
“The allegations by TSA on KNO/KNA were nothing but baseless, concocted and false with a sinister design to disturb peace and tranquility in the border town Moreh for their own selfish benefits,” the families said in a statement.
In fact, the family members of the three men Thonglal Baite, Seiminthang Baite and Sariya, wife of Md Abu, and his brother Apik said that the trio were handed over to them on the same day by Moreh police after verification.
TSA had on June 14 said the three men were abducted and assaulted allegedly by KNO/KNA on June 3 and later handed them over to Moreh police in connection with Shanti murder case.
